MontgomeryWorks offers workshop for job seekers at both its Wheaton One-Stop Center and Germantown One-Stop Center. A calendar on workshops is found at http://www.montgomeryworks.com/calendar.asp

Once you have chosen the workshop, follow these directions.

1. Log in to MWE ( Maryland Workforce Exchange) website: http://mwejobs.maryland.gov/
2. Scroll down to the section titled "Other Services"
3. Choose "Appointment Center"
4. Select "Events Calendar"
5. Click "+ Show Display Filters" Link
6. Region: Montgomery County
7. Office/Location: Montgomey County One Stop Center (Germantown) or Montgomery County One Stop Center (Wheaton)
8. Event Category: Workshop\Training
9. Click the "Filter" button
10. Select a " Workshop" on calendar view
11. View the event details on the registration form
12. Click the "Register" button to register for the workshop
13. To return to calendar view click the "Return to Calendar of Events" button

Our mission is twofold: to help Montgomery County residents prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce, and meet the current-and future-workforce needs of local employers. Funded by federal and county workforce investment funds, our one-stop workforce centers in Gaithersburg and Wheaton serve over 10,000 job seekers and employers each year.

MontgomeryWorks offers job seekers the tools and resources to prepare for and obtain a job. Our fully staffed resource centers provide daily job listings and access to computers, printers, and fax and copy machines to aid your job search. We also offer labor market information, career development workshops, career counseling, and training referrals to eligible job seekers. For employers, we provide a large and diverse pool of skilled and qualified job seekers ready for hire.
