Network. Tell family, friends, and other contacts that you’re looking for a job. Get names of other people who may be helpful in your job search.
Be Prepared. Have a copy of your resume with you at all times.
Make a “to do” list. Start every day writing a list of your top priorities. This will help keep you focused.
Learn how to talk about yourself. An interviewer will want to know all about you. Make sure you’re comfortable talking about yourself.
Prepare an elevator speech. You never know who you may run into. Prepare a 10 second “speech” about what you can offer.
